About the hiking tour
This tour is an absolute Norwegian Sunday favorite: hiking in Ålesund with a certified local guide.
This hike takes you to the top of Aksla mountain, the iconic peak overlooking Ålesund. From up here, the view stretches across the city, the fjords, and the surrounding islands.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy Norway’s nature while listening to the historical, social and cultural life of the region. During the tour, we’ll pause to share a hot Norwegian beverage and snacks. The coffee, coming from the local coffee roastery, always tastes better with a view. And of course, we don’t forget about the famous local pastries from Konditori (pastry bakery).

Things you'll experience
We will climb Rundskue (and enjoy the view) and Lilletoppen before reaching the famous Aksla Viewpoint, where we’ll stop for some free time, so you can take all the needed pictures of Ålesund and the fjords. Along the way, we will meet the statues of Kristoffer Randers and Rollon, and of course share a break with Norwegian coffee and snacks to get some strength.
